Bouncing Back
Weigh In: 277
Five Day Average: 275.35
Calories Counted: 1,317
If it was only that easy, eh? (/points to the picture above)
Ok, so the weight went up today. Can't pretend that I didn't expect that. So, the cycle continues - I eat great, get a great new low, and then binge and pop right back up. That's the bad news - but here's the good news: I've done this before, and every single time, I've bounced back and blew past that old "new low". So, I'm going to do it again.
I pretty much starved myself for the first half of the day. I didn't feel like eating, I was already stuffed to the gills from the night before. As someone on Billy's blog yesterday mentioned, just thinking about the 'horrible' day I had yesterday - if I look back a year or so, that 'horrible' meal would have not only been the standard for my day, it probably would have been pretty low. So, it's good to remember how perspective changes.
Also, thanks for welcoming Tamika and Jim into the Coalition. They're going to be two very solid contributors, I can feel it. The more the merrier.
So, pretty short one tonight (read: not as long winded as usual). Pretty tired, it's not even 10pm yet. How's that for a sure sign that I'm getting old? Until tomorrow!

Damn. I thought my cycles were bad, but you're worse than I am. Whatever, your bad day is over now, climb back on the wagon and let's all move forward.
Yeah, man, you really gotta stop having these bad days! I want to see a goal for you of 30 days, that's right, 30 days of clean eating and exercise. You're allowing yourself to slip too often, and it's slowing you down big-time. Every time you do? That's 2 more days you spend fat.
I think its good that you are jumping back on the wagon quickly. Not letting the slip up linger for a few days. The more you are acknowledging the slip ups and have a plan of action the next time, the less they have to be right?
P.S. Ive been going to bed at 9:30. lol
Glad your on the mend man. Billys post could have been to me too. I have be re loosing the same stupid pounds over and over. Not that I faltered last night but I am talking about the last month pretty much. I expect a new low on my scale tomorrow, do you? If you don't go get it. The pounds you gained in one day can be blasted away in 1 day. I watched the biggest looser last night and a women cheated and ate 2000 cals in 4 min..... she ended up being the biggest looser on her team. Take the helm Rob, I am following.
Not to compare us, but I do the same thing. I get right there >< that close to hitting a goal, and I blow it up with candy or a pizza.
Stupid idiot.
Me, not you.
i don't know, maybe it's just me, but almost every time I eat something, or am planning a meal, I'm thinking about this group and that I'd have to be held accountable for falling off the wagon. That keeps me from cheating because I don't want to let anyone down, but mostly I don't want to let myself down.
