New Numbers, and a New 5k Run

Weigh In: 315 (new low again!)
Calories Consumed:
2444
Calories Burned:
4330
Workout: Today, 30 minutes. March, 906 minutes
Five Day Average: 316.5

A few pretty cool things. First off, the average dropped pretty strong this week for the second week in a row. I've got 3 more pounds to lose for the month of March to keep on track for hitting under 300 by my 2nd Wedding Anniversary. Needless to say, I'm going for broke and trying to get ahead of the game. Pretty pumped about that.

Also, I heard on the radio that WDFN, a local radio station, is doing a 5k run in May. I'm thinking about doing that.. I was going to do one in December, but it got so busy that I never ended up doing it. So, if anyone wants to do this and is serious about it, and are near the Detroit area, you can sign up here. I haven't done it yet, but chances are good that I'm going to go for it. So, let me know - it's for a good cause, the Leukemia and Lymphoma society.

Also, I went from a size 4x shirt to a 2x shirt, and my pants size is down from 48 to 44. Definitely a big boost.

So, here's to another successful week!

Dude, awesome on the shirt and pant sizes! That HAD to feel good.

In response to yesterday's post:
Erin, if you're reading this, you're a kick-ass wife!! Having my husband on board with me, rooting for me and not letting me give up has been a crucial element in my weight-loss so far. You are doing wonders for your husband by not only being there for him, but verbalizing your support. So hats off to you, Erin!!

Pretty cool how the numbers worked out where you are exactly 1/3 of the way done with your journey (33.4 down, 66.6 to go). It is definitely very noticeable, and I'm not surprised that you're heading downward on the clothes sizes - that had to give you a big boost.

I'll jump on the bandwagon here and plug another walk/run - American Heart Association on May 19th in Southfield - they have various distances you can do. So are we all going to be hitting each other up for money for all these good causes?

Tuck-If you're interested...

The Asthma walk is around the Detroit Zoo-I think 3 miles. Then we get to stay and enjoy the day at the zoo afterwards-bring a picnic lunch, etc and walk somemore! No fundraising necess unless you want to.I have asthma, so I have been able to raise some $ already.

The Race for the Cure is 3 miles along Woodward-a nice walk in the city...! No fundraising necess. , but welcomed.

Let me know if you care to join us at these-I will send you details.
