Back on Track

Weigh In: 298
Calories: 2361

Funny how things work.

First off, I'm NEVER seeing 300 again. Last time I got to where I am today, I ate like crap, stopped working out, got lazy, changed my habits, slowed down when it comes to counting calories, and coasted. Now, I'm doing everything the complete opposite. I'm more focused, I'm more driven, I'm sticking to what worked, I'm going to be strong with my calorie counting, and I'm not going to be lazy. I'm starting phase two - 50 up, 50 to go.

Also, an update on my leg. When I got to the gym this morning, I was pretty stiff. Hobbling a bit. The first thing I did was go stretching, took about 10 minutes dedicated to warming up the muscles. I then spent 30 minutes on the Eliptical, and then another 10 minutes stretching out the quads. Then, I went to work for 7 hours, and had a hot pad on my thigh for the entire time. Felt pretty loose.

Got a gym workout, work, and then a softball game. That'll be a true test.

So, I'm on track again. I know I can't micromanage my weight, and if I creep over 300 again tomorrow, I can't do change the body's fluxuation - but I CAN work hard, eat right, and do what I can do.

Control what you can control - and accept what you can't.

250, here I come.

When you look at your achievements, it's obvious that your routine does produce results. You don't have to re-invent the wheel to lose the next fifty...just keep doing what you've been doing.

When did you cross that 50 mark? That's AWESOME! You've accomplished so much and inspired so many.

And great attitude. Framing goals around behaviors rather than outcomes is a better way to do it anyway.

Nice work man.
