I did well today. We went out to a really fancy dinner at the Rochester Chop House and had a good meal. For those who love my sodium number, it was down today. Also, much more protein and less carbs I think my chart looks pretty good today.

I'm bumming out because I can't get to the gym tomorrow - I have to help host a Solo & Ensemble competition at the high school and there's a pre-meeting at 7:30am. I was prepped to go to the gym early (aka: set my alarm for 5am on a Saturday morning, hows that for dedication) but the gym doesn't open until 8am. I'm working the event until after 5pm and we're going out afterwards. I've been weighing myself AFTER my workouts for a while now, so I'm concerned that I may not see below 270 tomorrow. I'm 203.4 as of 10pm - and yes, I'm fully aware of how crazy I am for stepping on the scale 10 times a day. ;)

Looks like I have to focus on the nutrition tomorrow. I've got to get 'er done.

Just curious...

Do you measure the amount of Raisin Bran you eat? The only reason I'm mentioning this is because the following blog-post really opened my eyes about cereal.

Keep up the good work, Rob.

Yeah, I do - I use the measuring cup to work out my portions. You're right about cereal, it can sneak up on you big time. Learned that lesson the hard way =)

How did your day go yesterday? I think its good to sneak in days like that where you cant get in a workout. Keeps you accountable on your food intake. 5am on a Saturday, yep thats dedication. On the 3 day, you will wake up at 5am with no problem. Its weird thats the only weekend where Im pumped and excited that early. :p

Love the new scrolling pictures on the blog.... what's that recent one with you holding some sort of trophy?

Keep up the great work... I see the 260's for you this week.

You should try rockin' a better cereal. Ever try Muesli? It's full of nuts, oats, dried raisins, dates, and all kinds of natural stuff, and it's delicious. Lots of fiber and protein, too.
