Tucker 2.0

Weigh In: 282.5 (new low!)

Ok, so between the two blogs that I keep and others, I think I feel good about the change that I'm making in order to be as accurate as I can be on the whole scale thing.

I've been exactly 6 pounds different on the two scales for the past 4 days, so I know that they're both accurate. I've been 'fudging' the number 4 pounds to account for the difference that I started with, so that's a 10 pound difference.

I'm going to change my "beginning" number from 350 to 360 to account for this number, but I'm going to keep my "379" the same, since that number came from the doctor's office, and not my own personal scale. I've checked on a few other scales and I've noticed that the scale that I'm using now is MUCH more accurate. I've come to the realization that the Ballys scale was lower than most.

So long story made short, nothing changes except for the measurement. The blog title will stay the same, accounting for the scale adjustments. On Bally's scale, I weighed in today at 276.5, a new low, and that is accurate with the 282.5 I got this morning on my own scale.

The weight is coming off. 260 is my "goal" for my 100-pound loss according to my blog, but
the bottom line is simple. I'm not stopping when I get to 260 anyway, so the "100 Pound" concept that I use for this blog is still the first step. In terms of my number, I'm going to just suck it up, and deal with it. The number on the scale is the number on the scale, and I'm not going to adjust it.

Today, I didn't weigh 276.5. I weighed 282.5.

What does that mean?

It means that 6 days ago, the scale read 288.5 - 6 pounds this week.

6 pounds is 6 pounds, no matter what scale I'm stepping on.

The fire is back, my friends. The number makes no difference.

OK Rob, I just have to comment because during the time that I read the comments on your last post, by the time I got back to your blog, you had posted a new blog. Funny. You really are obsessed with FAT! :)

Too bad you didn't just start using the new scale august 1!

There is too much math in this blog, I do not appreciate that.
Try our scale too, that's the one I use. Although if THAT gave you another number, all hell might break loose.

LOL, yeah - my head hurt too much on this. Much harder to explain that do.

Basically, I just accepted the number on the scale but adjusted my previous 'start' to reflect the difference between the two.

I have lost 68.9 pounds on the blog, I didn't want to 'unlose' it because of a math problem.

What??? -- "glossy eyed look"--. Just like when I used to live with a math major who would talk to me about abstract math. I would just start nodding my head and saying really, yeah, thats cool. Can understand the part of not wanting to unloose weight.

Keep burning the fat.
