Yesterday's Weigh In: 271.5 or 274?
Today's Weigh In: 272.5
Hard to explain yesterday's weigh in, I'm trying to avoid getting a new scale. I stepped on the scale, and it ready 271.5. Then I stepped on it again and got a 274. Then a few other times so I could try to get some consistency and it kept going back and forth. So I said screw it, stepped off and went on with my day. Today it was a consistent 272.5 the three times I stepped on it, so I went with it.
It's been a tough week this week, both mentally and physically. Some stuff just completely consuing my mind and energy, and it's completely taken my drive to do the right thing away. If it was up to me, I'd wake up, sit on the couch and just bury myself in junk food. I've been down and out for about a week, and there's been no drive at all. Work, school, the gym, my eating, you name it - I'm just feeling down.
But I do it anyway. I wake up, and I go to school. I go to work. I eat right. I exercise. I wish I sounded more upbeat and energized, but I'm just not into it.
I really don't feel like doing it, but I do it anyway.
And that's what success is.

The moods and tide will turn if you just keep doing it like you said. I feel like I am finally getting back on a upswing. I felt sore and lean from a good work out yesterday when I woke up this morning. Almost a reminder to keep doing what I am doing cause its working. Get your head up Rob, I hate seeing you down your usually so positive.
I understand your sentiments Rob. Sorry life right now is presenting you with a downer. I hope things look brighter for you really soon :) If there's anything we (I) can do to help, just reach out.
Take care of yourself. Good health is everyone's major source of wealth. Without it, happiness is almost impossible.

Pull yourself together brother. I've been there. You know what will make you feel good? Losing weight again.
Seems like you've been languishing at this weight for a while. You need to shock yourself out of it.
You're exactly right. I've been feeling a little down myself, but I figure if I just keep doing just a little better than before, eventually I will reach my goals. It's not about how fast you do it, just that you do it.
Hey Rob, can I join the F.A.T. coalition? I have a blog at http://buildingafitterme.blogspot.com. I'm trying to drop 55 pounds of disgusting lard :-)
Good job sticking it out through this down time. I did the complete opposite..I actually did the couch potato thing. I agree with Billy..the best way to feel good again is to see some weight lost. So keep at it Rob!
You're right - success comes by making the decision to do the things we don't want to or feel like doing. You have already proven with your weight loss that you know how to weather those storms. Your body will eventually reward you.
