Long One

Weigh In: 274
Five Day Average: 275.4

Going to be a quick one tonight, I'm exhausted.

Had SUCH a long day today. I had a good workout at 6am, went to class, went to my other class, went to work, went to a 401k meeting at Erin's work, went to a 2 hour guitar concert tonight, and finally got home around 10pm. Long day for me.

Long story made short, I ate horribly today. But - not a 'bad' horrible, if that makes sense. It's one of those days where I didn't eat nearly enough and was starving all day. I didn't think to make breakfast before I ran out so I grabbed 2 apples for breakfast. I had a bit of lettuce with tuna fish on top for lunch around noon, and I just had a small bowl of wheat pasta at 10pm - maybe 7 or 8 bites, to hold off the hunger.

I'm not worried about it because for one day, I should be fine. Ironic though, considering after all these months of 'eating too much' - I damn near starve myself.

Either way - I'm doing well. Next time, I'll bring a snack, or be prepared. In the past, this was the perfect storm - a busy day with not enough to eat and it would have led me right into the drive through at a fast food joint. I did great with my restraint and did what I could - I held off until I got home. Victories come in strange sized packages sometimes.

Good job, Tuck. This isn't something I'd do everyday, but for one day, it won't hurt you, and it beats the bleeding hell out of eating a pile of crap from the fast food place because you were short time. You might want to see about keep something small, healthy and munchable in your car though, just in case.

Ha! But I did cave to the fast food. Your a better man than I ;)

Seriously though Rob..you did what you could given your schedule and circumstances yesterday. You stayed strong and that is exactly what you have to do.

this is fine imo. the biggest danger of short-term undereating is that you'll gorge yourself when you get too hungry. You didn't do that, so it was a good day!

Those long days are killer. Preparation is definitely the key, but self-control is the next best thing. Good for you - you held it down!
