Didn't think to weigh in this morning. Had a ton on my plate this morning, and just didn't. Got up, ran to the gym, and ran to school. Same old, same old.
Not a lot to report today - I ate great, I did what I had to do, and then I'm headed to bed (late again). I'll be back in the gym in the morning.
Erin made a comment about how healthy my lunches are. I'm starting to get the hang of it. Tomorrow's lunch? Turkey chili, banana and an apple. Breakfast will probably be a bowl of Raisin Bran again, and I'm sure she's got a healthy dinner made up.
One small note: I was feeling that "I want to eat everything in the fridge" feeling tonight when I was at work. I knew Erin wasn't going to be home until after 6:45pm and I usually get off of work at 6:00, which means I would have been home without her home. Because I felt one of those uncontrollable binges coming on, I just stayed at work. I spent an extra hour at work because I just didn't trust myself to be responsible with an unmanned fridge.
That's sad, but that's the truth. I feel good about my decision to not put myself in a vulnerable position. It's pretty bad that I knew I couldn't control myself if I ended up there - but I took a neccesary step to avoid a pitfall Whatever it takes, I'm going to do it. Ideal situation or not, I came out ahead tonight. Here's to a good Tuesday.

Good job! To a good Tuesday...
Nothing to be ashamed of. You realized ahead of time what the consequences might be, so you took appropriate actions and stuck to your guns. No shame...keep up the good work.
I did something similar shopping with my wife this past weekend. I realized that she is crazy and spends money like it grows on trees...therefore I took the appropriate actions of ignoring her requests to go to a certain "high dollar" shoe store. :)
Good job, Tuck.
To hell with how you did it, you did it!
I think you did an awesome job of controlling yourself. You did a great job of recognizing what your problem was, and then took the action that was necessary to avoid it. Well done, it's that type of self control that's going to help you reach your goals.
I'm starving today, and it's 3pm and I've already had my lunch. Dinner's not for a few more hours.
I'm posting it here to call on my accountability. I feel like hitting every fridge and lunch box in the city right now.
Should have brought the freaking carrot sticks that have been sitting in the fridge for a week. Dang.
Good freaking call on avoiding the 'fridge, Rob. Play it smart. Keep playing it smart right now while you're wanting to grub really bad.
Keep the 260s in your sights - pigging out early and poorly ain't worth it!
I've been in similar situations. My wife is shopping with the kids and I come home from work to the "600 pound gorilla" known as the fridge. Most often I am OK, times when I'm not it's usually a part skim cheese stick that gets me through until dinner.
You ever considder an apple and about 10-12 almonds in the afternoon as your snack? Works for me - daily.
