This is going to be yet another quick one.
Ate perfectly today. Worked out in the AM.
Drank 2 pints of beer and a tall beer for St. Patty's tonight, plus one soft shell taco from Taco Bell around 9:45pm. Not the greatest move - but you know what, it's a holiday, I enjoyed it and I won't look back.
My weight has been STUCK again. I keep fluctuating between 274-276, it was high this morning too. I have been doing the whole 3 S's thing, going to the gym and THEN weighing in, but I'm changing that (as of this morning, which is why it was high this morning). I decided that I'm going to weigh in right after hitting the can, but before anything else. It gives me a better barometer, and even if it is a little higher (usually lose 1-3 pounds at the gym - water weight I'm sure), it'll give a better idea of what I am straight out of bed.
Plus, my schedule has been weird - this way, if I weigh in as soon as I get up and then shower at the gym instead of coming home, that shaves about 40 minutes off my prep time, so that means I get 40 minutes of sleep more. VERY valuable.
So, I've been breaking even. Been looking into a few alternatives to help give me that extra push. I will keep you guys updated as I go.
Going strong - but I have a feeling the 60+ ounces of beer isn't going to look too good on the scale in the morning.
Right back at it tomorrow morning. I've *GOT* to get under 270 in 2 weeks - 14 days until the birthday.

You might be surprised on the beer. It makes you pee so much that you can get away with it once in a while.
Wasn't surprised this morning :P
I'm eating 110% perfect today with no "it's just a few beers". We'll see what happens.
Had 2 bananas and a handful of almonds for breakfast, a small bowl of stew and a bag of carrots for lunch and now I'm at work until 6. Joy. Went to the gym this AM and also will be playing volleyball at 6.
Also, Kev (and other MI FATties), I haven't forgotten about basketball, trying to talk to the director tonight if he's there - is one night better than others?
I was reading an article in Men's Health the other day and they were talking about swapping out certain foods for others that are better choices. I was a bit surprised to learn that Guinness Draught has only about 20 more calories and 5g more carb then Coors Light. I enjoy darker, full flavored beers more than light beers, with exception of Sam Adams Light....so I would rather have a 3 beer guinness buzz than a 6 pack coors light buzz any day!! Not that beer is a good thing when dieting! ;)
No kidding - Guinness vs. Coors? Not even close. I'm a Sam Adams guy myself so that's kind of how I feel. I rarely if ever get shitty anymore, even having 3 beers last night was a big deal for me.
Rob you should be a science experiment... I don't know how your body holds onto its weight with all your workouts and your diet. Its crazy!! I guess the beer and tb probably isn't great but everything else you talk about seems fine especially if your in your calorie range... I can totally see why you are frustrated. I know this doesn't totally go with your post today but I have been thinking it for a while. Maybe you should get your insulin levels/hormones checked etc and talk to the doc... it just seems to me if most people put in the effort you are they would be dropping some serious poundage. From what I read you are eating a reduced cal diet and exercising 5-6 times a week..... that to me = weight loss. Anyway man I am pulling for you to hit those 260s.
