Blogging Myself Blind

Weigh In: 332.00
Five Day Average: 331.7

I've been posting like a wildman lately, but I figured that I might as well get my miles in.

So today's my weigh-in. Unlucky for me, weigh-in day is the day following the Super Bowl, but I can't do much about that. My last Monday weigh-in I was looking at 332.8, so I only dropped 1.1 pounds this week, so I can't say that I'm too thrilled about that. However, it's down instead of up, and that's the overall goal.

By the way, if you click on the picture at the top or click here, you'll get the long term chart that Billy provided. I've been keeping track for a while, and this is something I recommend for everyone who tries to lose weight. For instance, today I feel like I haven't accomplished much since the past week I've lost a whopping 1.1 pounds, but if you look at the big picture, you see that I'm working in the right direction.

Also, my workouts are getting stronger, and even though the diet went to hell yesterday, I've been doing pretty well. It's getting easier, and I'm in the gym most days so I'm feeling pretty confident that a big drop week is in the horizon. I'm pretty doubtful that I'm going to keep up with my February 28th goal of 315, but I'm going to keep working at it regardless of the time frame.

Not much else to say, and you all probably have about 3-4 blogs to catch up on anyway, so I'll stop it here. Until next time.

As I always say, life is not worth living if you don't indulge from time to time! You did great by controlling it and that's all it takes! As for the goals, goals are great for the motivation but they need to be realistic. I think Billy's approach is best. He aimed for 1.5 lbs/week to account for the occasional plateau. You did set yourself up with a big goal. With lower goal, there is also the added benefit that you can crush them and lose more weight. Good work!

I made a gigantic bowl of guacamole for the superbowl yesterday. Guacamole is mega-healthy, although tortilla chips are not. So, that's all I really ate, and had only one beer. So overall, I think I did ok.

Sounds like you resisted the food pretty well overall.

I had some vegie chilli (good) and too many chips and some hard cider. Could have been worse, but the good thing about the superbowl, is there isnt one next week, so you dont need to face temtation that bad again for a while.

I'm catching up so forgive me if i'm long winded. First off, Rob i'm still super proud of you grasshopper. you are learing and acheiving so much. I see how strong you are in the gym and how much stronger you are getting and it really impresses me. You have truly found your deep motivation, your wife. I'll give what keeps me going in the training room at Shift.
Your body isn't going to let you be the "skinny" guy...you'll have muscle there when the fat comes off to keep your dominant size. you'll be a swole ass linebacker... you can be my body guard. Remember what this past "biggest loser" winner accomplished. 400 plus down to 200 ish. Its amazing. You can do it, and i'm gonna exploit the hell out of you to market myself. your before and afters are gonna be amazing. Keep up the fight. This is your boxing ring, the poundage marks are your opponets. This is your Rocky moment. much love.

Dude rocks.

He's worth every penny.

And you know the most amazing part of him? Because I bought the house, I haven't been able to afford to pay him for about a month. When tax money comes back, he'll see more cash.. but he's been supportive of me for about a MONTH with not a nickel for it.

He's a class act, no doubt.

Hey Tucker...
you know what? You kick ass. I don't get on here everyday to read the blogs, like I would like to, but you know I think of ya and the battle you're fighting (and winning I might add) every day. You are amazing..several times since this has begun I've seen points where I could see myself, as well as many others I know say "to hell with this" and quit. Yet you've kept going. You're not just losing weight and building a stronger body...your mentality is solid, which will benefit you the rest of your life. Keep it up, buddy. Like I said, you kick ass.

You're doing it! That's the bottom line. All roads have bumps...it's learning to navigate the bumps...
A high road today, a lower one tomorrow...after a while, you learn to stay on course. The more you drive, the clearer the destination...great job!
