Yesterday's Weigh In: 276.5
Weigh In: 276.5
A few quick hits while I'm at work. I didn't realize that I didn't blog yesterday until just now, so sorry about that.
I did that Workout B from the "BellyOff!" program this morning, and all I have to say is .. holy shit. These workouts don't look so bad when you're looking at the sheet, but he's got you working out muscles you never use, and you feel them.
I took advantage of the warm up - the Y-squats and the Stick-ups really helped, as my shoulders have been sore as hell lately. If you look at the workout, the third Superset just killed me. Keeping the balance, working the abs and getting the perform form was REALLY tough - on the Stability Ball Jackknife Rotation I actually fell off the ball and hit pretty hard. I survived, but it was pretty embarrassing ;) The bottom line is, I had an INSANE workout, I'm feeling it, and it feels good.
In other news, things are going well. The weight popped back up yesterday and stuck today, which is pretty frustrating, but as I gave Kevin advice a few days ago when the same thing happened to him, I need to follow it myself. As long as I keep doing what I'm doing - working out hard, eating right, I have to accept the fluctuations and just deal with them, as it's part of it. No one ever gained FAT by following all the rules and working hard.
So, another day. 14 days left in the month and I really, really want to get in the 260's. Hard work will get me there, if it doesn't kill me first. But if I'm dead, I don't really have to worry about it anyway, right?

good to see the positive thoughts. looks like its going well! keep it up
Can you post a link to that workout?
I had an embarrassing moment at the gym yesterday as well. I was doing sprints on the treadmill, going 9mph, and I decided to try to watch some football highlights on a tv across the room and to my left. Well, after a few seconds, my left foot sort of went off the moving part of the treadmill and I almost bailed. fortunately I caught myself...
Billy, I added it to the front page of my page - top right. The Saturday workout gets progressively harder throughout the 8 weeks (you can find everything at http://menshealth.com/bellyoff2008), but this is what you're looking for.
rooting for you to get back in the 260's man!
Keep giving it your all Rob - things have to go in your direction. Im in your corner the whole ride :)
You'll make it, Tuck.
Just keep pushing, bro.
I hear you Tuck. Yesterdays' workout was an ass kicker. You're right about it looking sooooooo easy on paper. I can't wait for the BW100 tomorrow (I'm on a M-W-F schedule).
I'm really liking this program. I looked ahead to next week 2 and it is the same except for the BW workouts.
Keep pushing Rob. No letting up, get back to those 260s and never look back.
